TRACY ASHBY Gott

I've been teaching elementary school at the same school my husband Mark attended as a child. I've been teaching 3rd, 4th, and currently teach Kindergarten for the past 20 years. My husband and I live on 5 acres in East TN. We built a house where my husbands grandparents used to live. Our son Will is 15 and attends a special needs class at Sullivan South High School. He was diagnosed with autism at age 3. I still do a lot of advocating for him in the public school system where I also teach.

I often think of the many fun times Martha Anderson Martin and I had ! We were always planning the next fun time we could have ! I remember going to West VA with Mark Poff, David Little, Wendy Smith to learn to ski at Snowshoe. Everyone was an avid skier except for me who was hugging a tree on the Bunny Slopes !
